Located in Richmond BCSouthlands Riding Club has been providing a home for equestrian sport and recreation in the City of Vancouver since 1943. Located at the heart of the city's equestrian community, the Club focuses on providing training opportunities for amateur athletes at all levels, from grass roots to Grand Prix.Spruce Meadows- Spruce Meadows' tournaments have attracted virtually every Olympic, World, European, and National Show Jumping Champion; but there is more than just athletic excitement and excellence at Spruce Meadows. There is also a quiet side to Spruce Meadows; the peace and tranquility of the country is, for some, even more enjoyable..Hits Horse Shows in the Sun- HISTORY HITS, Inc. is a special events management company primarily focused on producing hunter/jumper horse shows. Based in upstate New York in the village of Saugerties, HITS produced its first horse show circuit in Gainesville, Florida in 1982. Since that time, HITS has grown into a nationwide company with world-class hunter-jumper circuits in California, Florida, Arizona, New York, and Virginia. In January 2006 HITS entered into a private equity arrangement with Leonard Green & Partners, LP in Los Angeles. As a result, HITS, Inc. will be able to develop and execute exciting operational and strategic initiatives that both solidify its well-established position as the leader in horse show management and allow for new growth opportunities. The Oregon High Desert Classic- Today, the Oregon High Desert Classics is the largest and most prestigious hunter-jumper competition in the Northwest, bringing over 500 of the finest horses and most talented riders from the United States and Canada to Bend, Oregon for two weeks in July each year.Hood River Classic- The Classic draws more than 400 top hunters and jumpers from the Western United States and Canada.The Brawley Farms Summer Classic- has quickly become a favorite event for spectators and competitors alike. Unlike any show in the region, the Summer Classic combines a relaxed atmosphere, entertainment and stunning competition in the beautiful Willamette Valley.The Washington State Hunters and Jumpers Association- has been serving the Washington community since 1952. They hold six Hunter Jumper Shows a year.Horse Associations and ClubsHorse Council BC was established in 1980 to provide a coordinating body to serve all equestrian and equine interests except pari-mutual racing. Guided by the objectives of our constitution with representation on the Board of Directors from across the province and all FEI Sport disciplines, Horse Council BC serves members involved in all aspects of the horse industry. Our ongoing commitments to communication, education and the well-being of horses are reflected in the quality programs we offer.British Columbia Hunter Jumper Association- The mission statement of the BCHJA is to support and promote British Columbia's Hunter and Jumper riders at all levels.
